Hi everyone! Hoping someone help me. I just bought a new 2019 Jeep Compass Altitude last month which I've put about 1100 miles on so far. This morning driving to work, the service engine light came on and simultaneously the rpms jumped super high. (4000-6000). I was driving on a busy highway, so had to try and keep my speed up somewhat, but as soon as I let off the accelerator, the car slowed way down. Help?!! I'm going to take it to the dealership tonight, but has anyone ever had this happen, or might know what would cause this out of the blue?? Thanks in advance!
