had to change front driverside strut today,93 intrepid.Was driving to the casino a couple of nights ago and I heard some kinda bang,then started smelling burning rubber and hearing grinding noises. stopped to look and couldn't find anything with the little flashlight my gf had.So today I looked at it and seen my brand new tire was worn on the inside tread, almost to the wire belt. The bottom plate holding the coil spring rusted thru enough to push down on the tire.I switched it with one of the new rear tires. I should've just turned around and went back home,instead of going to one casino then try for the other,only to be right at the second one and decided to just go home. And im out 120 bucks at the boat. Whole strut and swaybar link cost me 204 bucks.
