We need to remake this thread with acual sitings of rare and unusual jeeps. Get your camera's out guys.

 

...but I live in CO. Everyone here has a cherokee.

 

There's rare older Jeeps every where just have to keep a eye out for them. Out west you tend to see the older CJ's and *****'s, where as here in Michigan I'm more likely to see Prototype's....

 

i think there might be a cj4 for sale by me so ill get my camera out and see if i can get a pic.

Take front, back and side pics. There a a few things that will seem "off" as compared to a CJ5 . I be leave the CJ4 to be a CJ3b tube with the CJ5 front clip. I'll have to do a bit of looking. But as for it being a CJ4 that's is very unlikely. I think there are only 2 known to even exist.

But get pics none the less. both sides and a front and rear shot, plus close ups of any thing you see on it of interest..

 

The front fenders are the key... the CJ4 had very boxish front fenders.. not flat like the CJ3s and not as round as the CJ5s..
