Can I fit a 265 70/16 with a +36 offset on my 16 Cherokee?

+30 mm is stock offset. +36 mm will bring the tire 0.25" inward. A 265/70-16 is pretty much a 31x10.5" tire. I suspect it will fit, but there will be significant rubbing against the control arms when the steering wheel is turned far to one direction. Most people run less offset than stock - typically 0 to -17 mm offset. I'm not saying this is what you should do, but just want to make sure you know that +36 mm is the opposite of what virtually everyone does.
