I've got a 02 Ford Taurus with a 'blown' heat a/c blower motor that needs replacing, and I was wondering if there are any model/part suggestions.

Should I angle for an OEM part, or is there any manufacturer brand I should look out for, or avoid?

Did you ever get the blower motor you needed? Just curious. I always just got rock auto and then google the choices they offer to compare.

 

Stick with OEM (Motorcraft) or a reputable aftermarket brand like Denso, Bosch, or Four Seasons. Avoid cheap no name eBay/Amazon parts they often fail quickly. If you want longevity, OEM is best.
