Default New power wagon?

Just wanted to see what everyone thinks of this newer beast. For me sounds like the best tow rig and utility truck on the market. With front and rear selectable lockers and a 12000lb warren winch almost completely hidden in the front bumper. If I had the cash it would be mine!!

about 5 or 6 yrs ago i took a group of chrysler guys around moab for a week in those things. they did surprisingly well for the weight and size of them, but for the price i could build me a 5.9 mega cab with the same options plus extra for cheaper.

get a 05 or 06 5.9 put ARBs a good carli suspension on it and a road armor bumper with a winch and you'd have a killer tow/recovery rig.

though I wouldn't mind a winch hidden in the frame rails of my 06 1500

I just thought for a from the factory tow and utility rig it doesn't get any better. They have talked about putting in a deisal and different cab options but I don't think its going to happen.

Great rig but a new anything is not in the budget so I try not to look too hard.

I think I would rather have the old M27 power wagon I think it was? I've never been into a newer anything. Kinda like the one at a junkyard nearby me and skipper called Kilroys. it has no brakes, no lights, and no title. so they flatbed it to stuck rigs and charge double for having to tow your vehicle and theirs back. its harsh but they get you out.

For extreme recovery the farm next to my grandpas has a winch that goes on the 3-point of a tractor and is PTO driven. It has 3\4" cable. Local tow trucks call him when they cant get something out! Normally for cement trucks loaded. lol

imo it just looks like a way ugly 1500 with 1tons, lockers, and a winch. but just my opinion. I pretty much hate new vehicles.

that looks pretty sick. wouldnt mind one, but it'd need to be a EXTENDED cab with a diesel. none of this full-size or mega cab crap.

i was reading the reason they can't put a diesel in them is because with the radiator, tranny cooler and the big intercooler for the turbo there just isn't enough room for the recessed winch behind the grill.
