Default My new Jeep hauler!!

Paid 1,500 for her!! 1986 F250 6.9L Diesel 4x4 Supercab, T-19(?), no idea what t/c came in these years .. has 103,000 miles (barely broken in) bought from the original owners (guy is to old to drive anymore .. 88 yrs old) wife said he came home after whatever he hit with the door and put up his keys and never drove again (feel bad for him .. he loved talking about his truck but still wouldn't talk about what he hit lol) .. think I got a hell of a deal on it .. everything works so far. Seems to run perfect even thou it sat for a few years. They were the original owners and had all the original manulas and books even had the complementary key chain U get .. was tucked in a envelope along with the sales receipt paid 14,988 cash lol .. saved every lil receipt throught the years too .. meticulous on his upkeep of her!!

Nice truck! the dents are not a big deal but usualy a truck that old is completly rusted out in the fenders and on the bottom corner of the cab. I wish I still had my old truck, but I needed to sell it to buy my XJ. One question though, What is the thing on the hood?

Thing on the hood is a old CB mount .. already removed it .. lol .. plan on running it under the cab between the bed and cab and splicing it for a antenna on each side of the bed.

Cleaned her up and changed the oil/fuel/air filters yesterday and threw a good 200 miles on her and she never complained a bit.

Will get a couple more pics 2day after I cleaned her shes a lil prettier now lol .. oh and will get some of the engine bay .. so clean especially for a diesel!! Was surpised once I got the dust off her lmfao

Sad news is I am going to be getting rid of my J20 .. lol .. gonna miss that old truck but I needed a diesel for my Jeep (sometimes pulling 2 Jeeps) and the ol 360 gasser just doesn't have the torque.

Traded my son his 88 XJ for my 86 SJ .. for some reason he loved that old Grand Wagoneer beast .. so will be selling his XJ soon also!!

Gain one and get rid of 2 .. math like that always hurts lmfao

probably a np205 or a Borg Warner 1345....

Not many NP205's put in in an 86 tho... (stopped putting them in 85 I think) look and see if it still has the tag on the housing and it'll tell you for sure

Can't ever go wrong with Ford. lol Yeah I know I'm on a Jeep Forum but my blood runs Ford blue and always will. I like the Cherokees as well though. Tough little trucks.
Man I need to move up there near you. I am already tired of the heat and it hasn't gotten hot here yet. Snow in MAY! WOW!
