IMO the lifted IFS looks like it would gat all jammed up and be banging all kinds of rocks. Would need a large skid plare on the front. Solid axle is the way to go no doubt

Ok so I bought mywife a liberty and we have 3.5 in rustys lift and 32s and I love it n so does she it follows my 4.5 in lift xj with 32s I mean on modiate trails but its our daily driver and that is an jeepin by als 6in lift which is about 5000 dollars no lie and the fog lights aren't relocated the lift one is an 02 like ours and the other is like an 06 or better I love ours so before you talk trash drive one and you tell me its just a luxury xj

I agree, no gives the KJ a chance. They assume since it has IFS it sucks..
But in reality its the XJ of the time. Just like when the XJ first came out, people were not found of it, and didn't think it was real Jeep, but look at it now.
I also drive a 06 KJ as my DD, not lifted but is still capable with full skids, d-ring receiver hitches up front and a hitch in the rear.

Don't get me wrong though, I love XJs too!

Its probably not necessary to have 2 Jeep when your 20, but hey you only live once, so mine as well drive what you like

Not liking it...That IFS setup looks like crap, I like the renegade with a 6-speed but id only use it as a DD
