in my opinion yall are coparing apples to oranges people like me and im assuming wickedxj my jeep is not my daily driver! my xj was built to use offroad. i have a big lift with no sway bars no tcase drop no sye welded rear my jeep wasnt built to be a daily driver i have a truck and a car for that. but for what i have invested in my jeep i think it is very capable and i love that about it. no alot of money for alot of jeep. now for those of u who invest lots of money on a lift that is streetable and have air lockers and such so its more streetable. i agree its badass that yall can drive it everyday and wheel the hell out of it. i do the same but i dont have to worry about driving it to work the next day either. so that is why i trailer it. if i break it. all i have to do is get it back to the trailer. tow it home push it off in the shop and get to fixing so i can do it all over next weekend! so i see both points of view and they are both valid!

Never tow my XJ anywhere. It is my ride to and from work every day. It has also gotten me to and from the trail everytime.

i have no choice but to tow mine its not tagged for the road and no insurance so......if it was a on road vehicle i would definately drive it to the trails.....however it can suck to drive broke stuff home at 20 mph the whole way so

Never tow
Only time I towed was for the race team driving the porter to and from a race or test runs.
I prefer to drive my vehicles. If some thing simple and long ways a way I rent a 4x4 so I do not wear and tear. If i get certain ones I can swap my spare tires for serious play.
Does this mean I will never tow? OF course not. I want a true rock crawl buggy or a trpohy truck.
