Default grand cherokee overlander

Hi everyone, i am trying to find out if it is rare/common for the above car's engine to seize without giving any warnings or messages? The jeep has been regularly serviced every 12k/13k miles. It is a 65 plate and done 109000 miles,i cant get my breath as to how this can happen.
Any thoughts welcome please

Any engine can seize up for any reason at any given time. New or old. The only way to find out, or atleast get an idea as to why, is to tear it apart. Could be lack of lubrication, or straight up mechanical failure, such as a spun bearing which can bring it full stop real quick.
