hello there, as an older jeep cherokee driver ive got a new car now.
after my adventure with my jeep lately and had to leave the jeep behind. also got for short time an european car. The Renault Megane 1.4e (eco )
5 speed manual transmission, and before you want to pass a car first to do are making 2 prayers......first because you begin to overtake the car in front of you, the second one after you made it and thanking the lord for it.

last week the gearbox died French quality

yes....these are european cars how they look like in 1990's to 2000.
for the same money you had in the usa an V8 and all the options you wanted where you need to buy them in europe for big money.

now got back to US build quality.
it's became the Mercury Grand Marquis

4.6 V8 4 spd auto. green color and full digital instrument cluster.

this is the car,



both of them i have bought for the same money. as the renault as the mercury.

but this car is much bigger as the normal european car.
now the funny thing. the renault did 7 liters for 100 km, the mercury with his V8 does 9,5 to 11 liters for 100 km driving.
see the diffrence? 1.4 vs 4.6?
