With one of its employees making a statement like that on the Internet, it's no wonder some people regret going to AutoZone.

okay wait,... that rig was no more then 5 years old.. what the hell caused the fire? infact, i would expect something like that out of a 20 year old jeep... come on, they leak every fluid possible if not maintained 24/7 but a 5 year old suburban?

the fire was from a valve cover gasket that they neglected
and the fact that they just walked away with it running and had the fuel pump still spitting gas was dumb on there part

You just proved my point. You should have at least a little pride in your work and place of employment. Customer relations goes a long way in getting people to make those return visits, rather than just the random emergency stop.

IN KAUSTICS DEFENSE HERE:
They saw the fire and instead of shutting it OFF, they just got out and left it.
It is still running during this video.
Nice to have the fuel pump working hard to supply gasoline to the center of the fire.

Read the last comment on the first page of video. Who owns it???
I find that completely hilarious.

IF they would have had a fire extinguisher in thier truck like everyone in thier profession should have, this fire would never have gotten to this point.

Howler I wasn't commenting on the video per se, just on the statements he made in this thread. I personally don't care where he works but he should have at least a little pride in his job.
