Treadwright has started producing 100% new tires now for the same prices as their retreads. They cannot be beat.

But when you look at the cost of shipping, the price is not as good as it seems. For example:

31x10.50R15 Treadwright Guard Dog
$115 each=$460 for 4
shipping to my zip=$104
Total (not including mount and balance) =$564

31x10.50R15 Definity Dakota M/T (from pepboys)
$157 each=$628
mail in rebate buy 3 get one free = $471
no shipping needed, in store pickup

So they are not a bad deal, but better deals can be found.
