I'm about the change the headlight in an 85 Honda CRX, do I need to disconnect the battery first? Never changed a headlight before, always had someone else do it. Has same sealed beams as the XJ.

 

There's no need to disconnect the battery when changing a sealed beam headlight. On some vehicles the bulb is replaced from the rear, and access might be blocked by the battery. In those cases it would obviously be necessary to disconnect and remove the battery.
