Starts and runs fine. Oil pressure is good. Gas is good. Runs about 20 minutes or so. Then Kicks off. Won't start for a hour or two later! Any ideas???? It's off a house boat btw. If you need a size and brand I can find it later today.

from what you are saying it sounds like one of two things. 1. It's overheating somehow and shutting itself down to prevent damage. 2. The low oil sensor ( i am guessing that yours has it and is new enough.) is tripping and shutting itself down. Hope this helps man.

Like said above, check those two things first. Also does it have its own fuel tank/supply. If so you might loosen the fuel cap and see if that helps. I had a Gen that ran 10-15 mins and died and the fuel cap was not venting causing it to starve for fuel.

Just a couple of thoughts from personal experience. It may have a Co2 sensor that kicks it off when Co2 gets high, especially if it's in a somewhat enclosed space. Second, there may be some debris floating around in the fuel tank that is just large enough to block the fuel inlet. After the carburetor bowl refills the debris floats away and the engine will start again. Both of these have happened to me.
