So my in-laws have a 99 ford windstar. It actually drives fairly well. Today the transmission just stopped working. If you put it in reverse it grabs and moves, but if you put it in forward gears its does nothing. Yes I know ford isnt known for their transmissions. But they dont have the money to go buy another car or have the transmission rebuilt. I am thinking the transmission control module bit the dust. Please, any help is much appreciated
