Default 94 taurus gl no start

Hey guys, my girlfriends ford broke down (go figure) and it's in a no start condition ATM. Cranks fine and high but won't fire. Pressure at the rail is good, the fuel pump runs continuously when trying to prime though...as in it will just run and run and run...but motor won't fire. It apparently shut off abbryptly on her way to work, a leaking water pump (which I've known about) apparently created enough steam that she "couldn't see in front of her'. I've drove this vehicle under its current condition but never had this happen...but since its shut off it now won't fire. Any ideas?

which motor does it have? and does the car have spark? i believe it could be a ignition module ... no point in fixing this unless you fix the water pump 2... they are known to blow head gaskets pretty easyly... and ford makes good products just the Taurus is not one of them...
