So I found an '87 Grand Wagoneer SJ Limited and left my info for the owner to call me. I was wondering what might be a good price to offer for it. I don't know the mileage, but it obviously needs a paint job and replacement (faux) woodgrain. There's also a rust hole in the lower portion of the rear left quarter panel near the rear left wheel. Everything else seems to be in good shape, including the frame, and it has an immaculate original interior with NO rips OR tears. The headliner is intact as well. The Jeep also appears all-original except for an aftermarket Sony CD player, which I'd probably replace with a factory cassette deck for aesthetic purposes, and just use a Bluetooth adapter via FM in the cigarette lighter. What should I offer for the vehicle? Attached is a picture for reference. My plan would ONLY be to get it looking good enough to take to car shows and win some awards (as well as possibly show off with my boss's '91 with the same color combo). I wouldn't need to restore it to "Concours Condition".
