Does the push button 4X4 system use a transfer case control module?

 

Its possible. I know the newer ones do like 95-02 does its usally located in behind the passenger side kick panel. Its also vacum actuated. Should have vacum lines under the hood by the driver side fender near the fire wall.

 

I just rebuilt the system in my wife's '96 Blazer so got a hands on lesson on how these things are "supposed" to work. I believe in up to the '98 models the TCCM is right under the center of the dash. That's where the wife's Blazer's was anyways. I got some uesable parts left and am going to be working on a Jimmy. I did a YAHOO search and can only find references/replacements(Dorman,Rockauto,etc.) back to '94.
