Hey, all!
I have yet to speak with the seller, but this seems like a great deal...
"35 swamper boggers, dana 44,4.56 gears 4whl discs, efi 4.3 chevy, 4spd manual, 8000lb ramsey winch, custom bumpers, hard top removable" for $1600.

Anybody have any experiences / recommendations regarding a CJ of this age, especially in regards to what I should ask the owner about?

Seems like a steal. Definitely ask about rust and find out more about drivetrain since it has an engine swap. Also the Commando isn't a CJ, its known as a C-101.

Looks like the drivers door is off kilter. Check all the hinges and welds on top of the usual stuff. Oh and check for unusual holes in the firewall
