My Uncle has a 1960 ****** Wagon. For as long as I've been alive I have never heard it run, my cousins swear they heard it once.
He is getting up there in age and I want to get his *****'s running so he can enjoy it as he is the original owner.
Anyone know of any *****'s guys in Denver that I can pick their brain to get this project started?

first thing i would do is check to see if fuel lines are rotted, see what's in the tank if it has old fuel that may have coagulated, drain and flush with clean fuel. check the oil level.
then try to turn the crank with a johnny bar, or throw a battery in it, pull the coil wire and see if it cranks to see if it's locked up. if it's locked, she's done. it's probably a 6 volt, so if you don't have a battery, you can use a battery charger with boost option on the 6 volt setting.
if it cranks, put the coil wire back on, pinch off the fuel line if you hadn't drained/flushed it, maybe fill a squirt bottle with a bit of fresh fuel, squirt a little in the carb and see if it wants to fire up.
check for mice nests in and around the motor.
maybe have a thick wool blanket and a bucket of water or fire extinguisher handy too.
hard to explain it without being there, but be careful and try that. that's all a shop is gonna do.

ok, cool.
at least start with trying to turn the crank by hand. you should be able to get a ratchet in there to see if it's locked up or not. before you get too far into it.
