well first things are first...



well...replacing a water pump is easy..yet time consuming....it took ME 5 hours..because i was talking on the phone,eating,going to the computer and taking pictures....if you do just do it...with out distraction..i will say 1.5 hours is enough...

ok so there arent much pictures since i was alone...but there will be a good explanation..





ok..there she is....


this is out of the way
..remove it with a 8mm socket or wrench..its only 2 bolts...slide it out...and there


remove the fan with a 13 mm wrench ..you will have to use common sense here....get 2 13s and put them on each bolt and go oposite way..like that you will loose one of them...then take it out half way and use it as a leverage...

 

then remove the serpentine belt



use the same technique to remove the pulley of the water pump...

now remove all the screws that hold the water pump and slide it out...put in new one...

i got no pictures for that...hands were dirty and i couldnt wrench,hold the water pump and take pictures...mah bad..



then clean the mess


put some music...man techno is the **** when working on a jeep..hehe



then get back to work....

put the gasket...add some silicone if you rather...

then put it back..put bolts..connect hoses...same process to put the fan...and pulleys..put the belt..and

thats it... ...




and accidents happend...
