I don't post on here much but this thread caught my eye as I'm seriously contemplating selling my Dakota and picking up a Grand. I know the 4.7L well inside and out unfortunately thanks to my Dakota having one, they are absolute poop compared to a 318. Every Mopar 4.7L out there is a time bomb just waiting to go off, either spinning bearings or blowing head gaskets. Then when, not if, they do fail bend over and get out the Vaseline cause they aren't cheap. Stick with a ZJ to get the 318 or get a 4.0 WJ imho.
