ZJ Over Heating! HELP!!!

Yep! Put it in some boiling water this morning to check and make sure before I went out and got another and it wouldn't pop open. Lucky for me I have no wife to worry about just a mom but she wasn't home to see what pan I used

So new tstat in and now shes over heating again! Radiator cap is no longer getting hot to the touch and the return line from the water pump to my heating core isnt getting hot either! Am I looking at a faulty water pump? Please HELP!

from what your saying sounds like a circulation issue radiator in good condition allowing flow and how olds the pump?

The water pump is probably 3-4 years old. As far as the tstat facing the right way it will only go in one way so I would say it is facing the right way. I am leaning toward my water pump being out since the heating line isnt getting hot like it should be

Remember to ALWAYS use purified water in all of your cars or your cooling system will corrode over time. Wal Mart has it cheap for about $1 a gallon.
