Zj dipstick tube/housing. DIY?
I need to replace my dip stick tube to the engine oil. its bent, plus my dipstick broke inside. my question is, is it a DIY repair or will I have to take it in?

Broken dipstick
I broke the dipstick while checking engine oil levels, the tip of it still remains in the tube and have no idea of how to remove it or if this is going to damage the crankshaft or any internal parts in the engine if I keep driving it. Any advises?

Drop the oil pan and get the rest of the dip stick out. It's better not to have any objects in there that don't need to be there. Dip sticks and oil pan gaskets are much cheaper than a new engine.
