Hey guys, if i were to put 4.5 xj lift springs on a zj how much would i loose. an inch?

 

If you have a V8 but if you have a 4.0 shouldn't loose any.

 

I mean, will it only be about 3.5 inches of lift?

 

ooo yes, someone please anwser this, i can get some 3 inch xj springs, so these work the same?

Ok well I googled it and found a thread that said yes you can use them, but u will loose about a 1/4-1/2 with i6 and 3/4 with v8. Thats just what I saw on another 4x4 thread I googled so don't hold me to it. Be nice if someone else that new for sure could chime in

 

It's been said that you can lose anywhere from 1/2" to over 1", depending on the sagging.

That being said, I scored 4.5" Claytons XJ springs, that'll be installed as soon as my shocks arrive this weekend. I'll let you an approximate amount you'll lose.
