wring lifters, or??

Default wrong lifters, or??

Got new lifters, but they dont look 100% the same and are litle higher, on the inside the place where the pushrod should stay is higher up. Could i use them?
The new one are dnj engine lif1122

Did you use them? Did they work?

I also ordered LIF1122 from RockAuto.com, which listed them as a direct replacement. When I pulled out the old lifters I noticed LIF1122 were shorter and the grooves don't line up.

hydraulic lifters have to "pump up" with oil

The outside of the lifter doesn't get longer though. The outside case of the replacement lifter is shorter than the stock one. When you drop the replacement in the block, it sits deeper into the lifter hole than the stock one did.

if the lifter body is shorter but the inside part where the pushrod sits is higher up, i dont think there would be a problem. but i dont know for sure

Yea me either. I just wanted to see what others have done before I put the head on. I'd hate to have to pull the head off again after I figure out they're no good.
