Angry wont start, OBii just gives err message, no check engine light

I am a bit stuck here. I am used to the crank sensor messing me up on more than one GC but this one has me stuck. Went out in the morning and no start, no spark. Check engine light doesn't come on so I got out the OBii scanner and it won't link up. I check the scanner on my 96 GC...this one is a 98...and the OBii links up fine. I thought he PCM might be bad but spent $400 for a remanufactured one and ...no help. It acts like the PCM is not powering up but the fuse checks fine.

any help appreciated.

Sounds like the PCM is not getting power. Check fuses, relays. ASD relay comes to mind, but check the others too.

Talking double trouble...now resolved

The mystery is finally over. There were two problems. I did trace the power and ground to the PCM and all was fine. Knowing this I went in search of why the PCM was not communicating to the OBD ii scanner. With a lot of schematic chasing I worked through the path and found that connector C131 and C132 when reseated solved the sanner and engine check light problem. This of course allowed me to scan and find (code 0320) that the second problem (not starting ) was of course the crank shaft position sensor. Some engineer at Chrysler must have a sadistic sense of humor when he placed the sensor where he did. Maybe he laughs evertime one is sold. Maybe he is even the one that designed it to fail on every 4.0 engine. This will be the 3rd one I have changed...and I have only owned 3...100% failure rate.

thanks for the response.
