Default Wj lift?

First of all I would love to say hi. Secondly I'm new to the world of lifted rides and have a few questions. I would really like to lift my jeep wj which I just bought and honestly don't know where to start. I would like to lift it around 3.5" to 4" maybe higher or lower not really sure. I just want something that looks nice on my daily ride to work but also handles me off-road very nicely. I'm not really concerned about the budget and just want the job done right the first time. I want a good suspension kit that's safe on the highway and that is badass offloading. Not to stiff and or bumpy. Nice riding . What is the best lift for a wj and the smoothest riding onroad and badass off-road.

Maybe, just maybe, its cause someone is hoping you would have read the Sticky Threads that is permanently placed at the top of this forum. If you can't find it, then do a search. There are lots of posts on here asking about lifts.

My Grand Cherokee does not have any lift on it but with all the posts here about lifts, I know what I need to do a successful lift. Just from reading!

You're pissed because someone didn't answer you in 2 hours time? This site doesn't have a ton of WJ owners so a bit of patience would do you some good. Beyond that the WJ can be finicky about lifting so you need to do your homework. I'm at 4" and riding on 32" tires but I'll save my time typing unless you decide to show up again.

The new issue of JP magazine has an article on installing a long arm lift on a WJ, and Extreme 4X4 has a project WJ that inludes a lift and bumpers.
