wj lift
i tried to search but wj is too short and "lift" brings up a ridiculous number of threads.
so i know with lifts its usually some hate x brand others swear by it. so how does a consumer know before buying? local off road place i believe is wanting to do the rough country lift, he said kit is $500 idk if he had plans to do any upgrades like shocks.(my dad got the rubicon express on is 06 rubicon and the guy put bds shocks on, no idea why, maybe he knows whats good whats not, knew rubicon shocks wouldnt last so he put the bds on?)
im wanting like a 4" suspension. first i naturally looked at rough country.
never heard of like rustys offroad but they have a 4.5" lift.
zone offroad has a 4" lift
stand then u have bds 4" lift. it costs the most and i realize they replace parts no matter what, but is that why it costs so much?
i like the rusty one because i already have 285/70/17 bridgestone revo 2 A/T tires and the 2 pictures show with 33s(granted i really want to try duratracs)
02 overland i dont do extreme off roading but i do go like 10 times a year with the atv and jeep

It all depends on what you want to spend, Rough Country is a good bang for the buck but has had some durability issues (if you go Rough Country I would spend the extra $250 and get the Extreme kit) Clayton Long Arm is probably one of the best kits but you are looking at $2000 to start, Iron Rock Long Arm is a good compromise (Long Arm will give you much better flex and ride), BDS is nice stuff but expensive so in my personal opinion I would spend the same amount of money and get a Long Arm kit.... As you know you will never get everyone to agree what is the best kit for you.... This is why it is commonly said to research research research, what is a big negative to one person may not be a big deal to another. Personally I am either going to go with a 6" IRO Iron Rock Long Arm Kit or Building my own long arms, use Billstien 5160 shocks, and decide on springs once I can research them.
PS: It is not that hard to scan through this forum section and see a bunch of lift questions and answers posted.

oh ya i forgot about the iron rock 4" lift as well. i have it bookmarked.
not worried so much with ride quality. more worried about durability. i have a month old kid, i cant be stranded on the side of the road.
and when i off road im an hour or more from home. i cant be broke, how will i get home, or my atv home
not looking to spend more than $1500 prefer to keep around 1000 but if one of these 1200, or 1300 kits gives me reliability or like iron rock has long arm might be the best off road capability or something. well worth it then
