Wiper Blade Deflector & Handbrake Light
Sorted the wiper issue!
Also my handbrake light doesnt work when the handbrake is on. It lights up on the dash when you turn the vehicle on so it must be at the brake somewhere? Can someone point me in the right direction please.

Engine: 4.0 with all of the noise and clatter
There is a switch on the hand brake lever, that is where I would start. I'm not sure what you're asking about the wipers.
