Default Window Motor Fix

Anyone have a step by step guide to replacing the power window motor in a 98 Grand Cherokee Limited? I got a new power windows motor and installed it, but now the window goes up really jerky and choppy and it doesn't know when to stop. When I hold the switch to roll up, it goes and goes and when it can't go up any more it just bangs but the motor never stops.

I think the jerk motion in up/down is due to me leaving off something or put a bolt in the wrong place.

Need a little help.

Turns out, the choppy / jerky motion was due to one of the little white plastic pieces breaking off. I dug out the pieces, glued them together and placed them back.

As for the window not stopping when it reaches the top, the motor and the gears didn't seem to make a proper connection. I took the motor off and replaced it, now it stops at the top when it should.
