Will a 96 v8 auto 4x4 fit in a 93?

Engine: 5.2l 318cu.in. V8
Will a 96 v8 auto 4x4 fit in a 93?
From what i understand the consecutive years are 93-95, but i was wondering what was different on the 96? Someone told me that as long as it was the 318 it didn't matter.. is this true?
