how come some lifts don't fit the awd models?

The RC 4" says it doesn't work with AWD. Might have something to do with the fact you can't do a SYE on those t-cases and if you lower them it throws the front drive shaft off.

Actually RC say not for AWD Models on ALL of their ZJ and WJ lifts. It has to be something to do with the driveshafts and drive line angles. Because everything else would be the same. Rustys doesn't have the same restrictions, Might be worth a Call to RC for an answer.
