Default Where is oil pressure sending unit and how to chsnge

Where is the oil sending unit on my 96 gc 4.0 isn't in passenger side of the block any info on changing it be great?

I have a 96 cherokee and it was on the passenger side right above the oil filter. pretty easy job. but I have no experience with GC so

Right next to the oil filter.

If you are not careful with your oil filter wrench when removing the oil filter, you will find it... don't ask me how I know. As others have said, next to the oil filter and easy to change.

passenger side right above the oil filter.
black plastic/chrome piece that just screws in.

just be careful and use the slip joints on the chrome/metal piece so you don't crush the plastic.

you may loose a bit of oil, so be sure to have a rag and catch pan.

I changed mine stil oil pressure fluctuates some between 1/4 and halfway on the switch. But do you put anything on the threads befor you instal which I didn't so I'm hoping not

Is that normal to do that between half and and quarter to fluctuate when you get on the gas pedal

it is normal for it to fluctuate.

Ha, did that on my old xj! Without the wrench tho. Was fun when I started it, had quite the mess to clean up.
