hey guys, kinda new to the jeep world but not the car world. i have a 96 cherokee sport that was given to me. i was going to use it to make a project out of but i have too many going on right now. if it werent for the floors being pretty much gone i would have used it for a daily driver. so my big question is before i send it off to the scrap yard what is worth saving? its a 4.0 2 door, all the glass is good, everything is there and it all worked before it was taken off the road. the cooling system was just overhauled not 400 miles ago. the ac condenser is maybe 2 years old.

 

If it runs and the trans and 4wheel drive work put it on craigslist and you might get around $700 for it. Junk yard about $300 or less.

 

it does run and driver, trans and everything was fine when it was taken off the road. it doesnt have tires right now i sold them off already. they were brand new put on 4 months before it got taken off the road so it would pass state inspection.

 

You won't get much parting and/or scrapping it. If it's good condition you could easily net yourself $700 even with the floor work.
