what type of joint do i have?
well ive got a 1999 jeep grand cherokee lerado.i need to work on the pinion bearings and i thought i broke my rig and pinion but upon initial inspection fount that the clicking sound i was getting in 4 wheel drive was the joint on the transfer case where the drive shaft comes.
with the wheels on the ground i could spin that joint without spinning the entire driveshaft and really it should have only turned as mush as the slack in the axal gears right? plus i need a tranny mout so this is the weird thing i jacked it up and found that tranfer case joint the way it was,i pushed on the ranny with my foot to see the play and when it moved the joint went back together or something cause now it is locked with the driveshaft.
so i guess if anyone knows anything about these front driveshaft hit me up i need help.....
