Default water pump help

Here is my issue. I am replacing my water pump (98 5.2) and after two days of wacking the fan clutch i finally got it off. Now my problem is that the line thats feeds the coolant to the heater is of course very corroted and the end that goes into the pump has broken off inside the old pump. checked all autoparts store and no one has it or knows what it is called. i am more than sure i can get it at a junkyard but would prefer to not go that route because i will probably have the same problem in a short time do to the corrosion. any and all help is greatly appreciated.

Check the dealer, you may be suprised how cheap it is. You can also try www.rockauto.com .

Rockauto was a bust, no listing for it. You'll have to check with the dealer if you want a brand new one.

yeah i'm pretty sure i would have to go with dealer. i was calling around the junkyards but it seems like no one knew what the hell i was talking about and by the time i get out of work its too late to go look myself. $48 is what im looking at the dealer but i would have to wait for it to arrive and they dont know how long it would take, they said it could be anywhere from 5 to 10 days. thanks for all help guys much appreciated.
