Default Wasting money on AC problem.,..help please

Hello. I have a 2013 Jeep Grand Jeep Cherokee Laredo 3.7 2WD. Out out the blue the AC started acting up...so I finally had a traveling mechanic that that my friend uses look at it, should of been more skeptical because his "diagnostics" was nothing but him doing a quick look over. So it was determined to be the blower motor/blower motor resistor. So got those..took them to another mechanic I thought was no longer available and he immediately questioned it...old motor showed minimal wear if any et. Still i had him replace them. No dice. He threw in a freon recharge for me. The symptoms are that it will only really blow cold on the passenger side (now its colder after the recharge but that did not effect pass side) and when first starting the vehicle..it kicks on..then off..it can be 10 minutes before it consistently stays on..I basically have to play with when it turns off but turning it up or down until its steady state. I just spent that money and time and still the problem persists. Has anyone run into this issue?

Thank you!
