Very high rpm's
I have an 04 WJ with a 4.7L V8. On the way hame about an hour ago, i floored it on my road, just for fun. normal driving i get about 3-3.5 rpms, and then it will shift. (automatic BTW) when i floored it, i was running about 5.4-5.6 rpms before it shifted. it redlines at 5.8 rpms. i was going 70mph in 2nd gear before it shifted. this seems abnormally high compared to other vehicles i have driven. is anything going wrong here?
