vent problem

when i have the heat or the air on it will on blow out of the defrost holes or the foot holes. it doesnt blow out of the dash vents. what could be causing my problem?

more than likely the switch that is bad. If you can turn the selector and it still blows out the same holes

my air conditioning works fine blowing out the front, but have the same problem with the heat.

where is the switch?

i think its the thing you move to adjust it from vent settings

oh i expected it would be something more internal. ill have to check it out.

im not sure i thought all that stuff was vacum operated
