Hi new to the forum so you may have to bear with.
I have a 2001 v8 cherokee with gas conversion, engine has always run very sweet but recently had a problem with gas; missing etc, after many weeks in the garage i finally gave in and had a new system fitted, only to find out it was exactly the same as before, few weeks later problem found, broken wire out of the ecu, garage fixed that car running great.
Gone to pick the car up from the garage, watched it ticking over, then it stopped dead.
Outcome; The engine had seized solid. I looked at the machanic he looked at me
He cant tell me anything until he inspects?

Any of you guys heard of this before...HELP

Maybe injector creep caused you to hydrolock it on petrol?

 

Hi not sure what that means but thanks for info i will pass it on to the mechanic, he did remove the plugs and tried to turn it with a big socket but it was solid. would the thing you mentioned couse it to be that solid?

 

take it you mean grand cherokee, not cherokee
