Recently took the 45RF transmission out of a 2000 grand cherokee 4.7 v8 , and put it in my 2002 grand cherokee same engine, both full time 4wd . The transmission will not do anything. Rechecked connectors, fluid, etc all appear fine. There is a difference on the fuse panel under the hood which is probably why it doesnt work. The 2000 has a 15 amp fuse says trans solenoid in postion 28. The 2002 does not have a fuse in that position although the panel says tcm 15 amp. Any help would be appreciated. The 2000 tranny worked fine prior to removal.

 

Doesn't work, meaning doesn't shift or doesn't move in forward or reverse? I'm thinking that empty fuse slot labelled tcm probably needs filled.
