I just replaced my governer pressure sensor and transmission solenoid on my 97 after i got tired of manually shifting my automatic for 3 years and it shifts good but it holds onto the gear too long it likes to shift at higher rpm, anywhere between 2000-3500 rpm. what should i look at to go about fixing it?

Try to adjust the throttle pressure cable. Do a search and you should find the correct procedure.
