Hi Guys! First time post and I come to you bearing a question.

I have long wanted to purchase a 1998 Jeep Cherokee 5.9 limited. One has come up for sale in my area and its listed on Ebay. There is a Rough Country lift installed. I'm guessing its greater than 4.5". The transfer case is dropped but it doesn't look right. Cross member is missing. It doesn't look like any modifications were made for it. It will only stay in four wheel drive high as a result. Another curious thing: there are 2" spacers between the rail frame and body. But it suppose to be a uni-body. Should I get a drop kit for the transfer case, yoke extension, run from this one. Please let me know your thoughts. I'm sure I'm invoking more questions than answers, but everything else is in great shape. Not sure what to do. -Refus

 

Sounds kinda shady and weird, plus its from a used car lot. IMO the price is to high for that many miles, you can find a way better price. Also not a huge fan of the V8 with that many miles your bound to have something serious go wrong with it soon.
**Also that looks like a 3in lift def not 4.5 or above. Just my 2 cents....
