Why do you think that's alot of money??
The dealer gets $115.81 for the pressure sensor
$132.82 for the governor
$182.31 for the shift solinoid pack
I bought all 3 for $136.
Even if I have to rebuild it those parts need to go in there anyhow.
That is the problem when people want cheap cheap on a trans rebuild. They get what they didn't pay for, headaches.
This is a shot in the dark before attempting a rebuild.
So what is lost? Some time and some fluid?

Im not used to seeing prices like that for rebuilding. but I dont really know 4wd either. So to me that was kinda expensive. But with the breakdown you gave me you got a hella deal.
Sorry about that.

When I seen that pile of parts I thought holy you got all that for 136.00 bucks. Certainly didn't get the idea it was expensive. I find buying and changeing parts is less expensive then having a shop take your vehicle and spend a whole pile of time trying find a problem then wanting a pile of cash to fix it. I buy parts change them and if it don't work buy something else till its fixed. Still usally ahead of the game. Be interesting to find out if it works for you.

Not me. I actually used to buying a used vehicle and taking it to a shop and say replace everything you can. Make it new. That was with my mazda though. Then after that I started putting after market in it. But I had a good job then too. Now I cant do that. So I like to buy the part that is not broke.

Not that I know of. But right before it shifts it has a turbo blow off valve sound to it. Its not real loud. you have to listen for it to hear it. Sounds kinds cool if you could hear it over my exhaust. But idk if its a problem.

Yeh guys I have taken down pans that looked far worse and the tranny worked even with chunks in the pan.
Believe it or not the pan was not leaking at all.
Of couse I bought a new filter and gasket for only $5.49
