just bought a new ZJ as a daily winter driver / summer toy hauler (couple atvs)
Just wondering if it would be possible to tow my trail rig with my DD rig

Yes, it is possible but be aware of any damages it might cause to your DD.

why, b/c i dont have a truck to haul it, and if it worked why not?
I hauled the rig before with a z71, wish the trailer had breaks, would have made my life a lot easier

If it has the full time t-case it can be towed using either a tow bar with all 4 tires on the ground or on a trailer to prevent t-case damage. Or remove the front drive-shaft when lifting the front as on a tow dolly. T-case in Neutral, trans in Park when being towed, unless on a trailer.
If it has the 2WD t-case it can be towed using either a tow-bar, tow-dolly, or a trailer. The trailer adds extra weight though, which adds extra braking distance.
A trans cooler is highly recommended.

Ya but why tow it? Can't you just drive it there?

We go to Haspin Acres which is 2+ hours away and if something brakes while I'm there then I'm screwed if i drove it. Wheeling around my town of course I'll drive it, the long distance is what i was concerned about

Oooooh well then that makes sense. Man I'm dumb.

That kind of diatance personally I would add a transmission cooler to the mix. Maybe upgrade the brakes

Which ever brand you decide to go with get a plate and fin style. Not a tube and fin style.

Are two examples of good ones. When I do my trans build I am going with the B&M one.

Do you piggy back it or just replace it
