Tire and lift
I have a 3inch ProComp lift with 31's right now. I'm wanting to go to 33's though. Can I do this on this amount of lift? I know I would have to trim (probably alot) or would it be better just to get a 2" BB? Should I change my gears? Would I be ok with this size tire and a locker in front and my Posi in rear?
I'm sure this has been answered before but I didn't find it under the search.
Thanks in advance.

do your 31's rub with the lift you have now?
And yes you will need to trim the finders and hammer the pinch seams but it will still most likely rub. the 2" BB might be the right route
Your gears should be fine with what you have, not sure about the locker and posi, if your just going to wheel it i would just weld the rear end

I've got new control arms all around, adj TB's F&R, and swaybar disco's up front. I'm still on the hunt for a steering setup that will be reliable for my lift height in my price range. There's alot of "little" things that pop up at the height that you don't think about.

I don't rub right now with the 31's. It is pretty close though. So, if I just go with BB I could get a total of 5 inches and shouldn't have any issues?

U have adjustable track bars? Also heard u need to do a t case drop is suggested at that height. I think u will be stretching the drive shaft to it limit as well. also see if your shocks that came with your kit can be used with 5 inches.

It would be alot easier to just break out a sawzall and trim the fenders than to toss that BB on there. Going to 5" requires alot of work to run that reliably. You're probably going to end up with a whole lot more problems going that high. I lifted mine in February to 5.5" to run 35's, and right now I'm still working the kinks out.
