ticking clunking noise from back of 97 GC

ticking clunking noise from back of 97 GC
I have this annoying noise only when off the gas from say 50 mph to 0mph got under jeep seems like I can jiggle the driveshaft and replicate it. Noise is at the transfer case going to check oil in TC now anyone know what this could be? total newb to jeeps and 4X4 also all time 4 wheel model thanks
