Thunderbolt warning light
Hi Guys,
I have a 2007 Jeep Cherokee 2.8 CRD.
The Thunderbolt warning light was flashing so I have fitted a new Throttle Body. I have tried to reset without success. Prior to changing the TCB the thunderbolt light would sometimes go out after filling up with diesel.
Does anyone have any idea's please?

1. This isn’t the forum to post this on. This is for 01-later Jeep Cherokee’s, the XJ square body style.
2. That red thunderbolt light is the throttle control light. It’ll come on if you have a vacuum leak, a bad throttle body, or in some cases bad wiring. On my girlfriends Charger, an 08, had that light come on because of a bad EGR seal, causing a nasty vacuum leak. I would advise you to smoke test the intake and see if you have a vacuum leak
